A visit to the Iraqi Embassy in London and meeting with the Iraqi ambassador his excellency Mr. Mohammad Jaafar Al-Sadr and the counsellor Dr. Ahmed Khalid where discussion for some topics was made such as enhancing the economic business relationship between Iraqi and British companies through a government-approved organization that facilitate the business in Iraq. For example, infrastructure, oil & gas and other industries professionals from the UK who can provide their services in Iraq, Al Zaman Group is ready to support business opportunities in Iraq since it has experience in executing successful projects for Iraq.
A plaque was presented by the Al Zaman Group CEO to his excellency for the honour of the visit.
An event is being organized by the Iraqi embassy in London in January 2024 under the name “Taqat”.
It endeavours to cultivate bonds between Iraq and the UK, particularly amongst their enterprise communities.
By translating these bilateral connections into opportunities, the event aspires to catalyze innovation partnerships between Iraqi and British enterprises. It also stands to strengthen prosperity across vibrant Iraqi and British startup ecosystems in E-commerce, Finetech, Health, Tourism, Investments and the creative sector.
