Pakistan Navy signed the contract for acquisition of 4 x Milgem Class War Ships with Turkiye.
The contract also includes complete transfer of technology and the transfer of intellectual proprietary rights for the design of these ships to Pakistan.
The scope of this contract is the construction of 1st and 2nd ship at Istanbul Naval Shipyard, Turkey while two ships 3rd and 4th to be at Karachi shipyard & Engineering works (KS&EW) in Pakistan.
AL Zaman Group is an important part of this contract between the two countries.
AZG has been active in Pakistan for more than 2 years now. KS&EW approached AZG to accelerate the pace of production work. AZG, through its sister company (DGS) professionally completed the block construction and erection work at Karachi Shipyard.
KS&EW appreciated the performance and work done by DGS and expressed interests in working on further projects as well.
