AL Zaman Group signed a Joint Venture with Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works at Pakistan Maritime Expo & Conference held in Expo Center Karachi, Pakistan.
General Manager (Shipbuilding) Cdre M Jahanzeb Ahsan SI(M) signed the JVA from KS&EW.
JVA signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Humayun Aziz (Secretary MoDP -Ministry of Defence Production), Rear Admiral Mr. Salman Ilyas MD KS&EW, Rear Admiral (Retd) Syed Nasir Hasan Shah HI(M) (Chairman Port Qasim Authority) and Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed SI(M) (Chairman Pakistan National Shipping Corporation).
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works is an organization of Ministry of Defense Production, Government of Pakistan.
Both parties agreed to participate in Tenders and shipbuilding business as invited by the respective Government Authorities or private companies in Pakistan or other countries to build various types of vessels for prospective clients that can be designed and constructed in mutual partnership.
Through this JVA, KS&EW has shown will work together with AZG and provide Tender related information while AZG will fulfill its role by providing competitive proposals for the success of both parties.
