Al Zaman Group was a Gold Sponsor to this conference, and within the agenda of the conference a maritime panel was held which was chaired by Mr. Colin Findlay of IBBC and the panellist were: Mr. Ahmed Shaban, CEO of Al Zaman Group, Mr. Robert Stewart, Director of AMC, Mr. Sadiq Jasem, Director in DIC.
The conference was attended by the Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, President of IBBC and several Government officials from the Iraqi Government including H.E Minister of Oil Mr. Hayyan Abdul Ghani., H.E Minister of Communication Miss. Huyam Al Yaseri, H,.E President of DIC Mr. Mustafa Atti, Member of Parliament, Miss Alia Nsayef, Prime Minister Consultant, Dr. Abdulkareem Al Faisal, Deputy Minister for Foreign Afairs, Mr. Mohammed Bahr Al Olom . in addition to officials from the British Government including the British Ambassador, Mr Hitchin and Damian Allison. As well as the participation of IBBC members of Iraqi and UK companies and invited guests who made the conference more active in terms of networking and providing the best technology and experience in order to achieve the conference goals.
Al Zaman Group had a booth in the conference hall as a Gold Sponsor, in which company promotions were displayed for distinguished guests. The outcome of the conference were very positive and all parties have shown their great progress in implementing successful projects in Iraq and through the support of the Iraqi Government represented by H.E Prime Minister of Iraq H.E Mohamed Shia Al Sudani.
