On 16th February 225, Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Al Zaman Group (AZG) and Aluminium Marine Consultants (AMC), UK at the Iraqi Defence Industries Commission (DIC) headquarter in Baghdad in the presence of the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) represented by the Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, Member of the House of Lords and President of the IBBC, United Kingdom as well as Mr. Christophe Michels, CEO of IBBC and Mr. Colin Findlay, Director in IBBC.
Al Zaman Group has a joint venture agreement with the DIC for the Construction and Operation of a Factory for assembly and manufacturing of marine units near Baghdad. Therefore, the signing of the MOU between AZG and AMC took place at the DIC headquarter in Baghdad. A great welcoming at the DIC by H.E Present of DIC Mr. Mustafa Atti and accompanied staff of DIC.
Since Al Zaman Group has presence in the United Kingdom and through the cooperation with the IBBC, AZG made contact with AMC company which is based in the Isle of Weight, UK.
AMC have high experience in Manufacturing Aluminium Boats where they have supplied different types of boats including fire boats, patrol boats, autonomous vessels, CTVs, speed motor boats, hydrogen boat, etc.
The agreement was made between AZG and AMC to sign an MOU between the two companies on develop and promote the design, construction and delivery of Aluminum boats, modern electric boat, speed boats as well as other global business opportunities and Transfer of Technology from the UK to Iraq through Boat Building and Innovation.
